Camo and I took Shannon, Don, and Nick Campbell on the Rubicon Trail for Jeeper's Jamboree last weekend. While we were partying at the river, Nick bailed on the rope swing and busted up his foot really bad. He had to be helicoptered to the hospital for surgery. He's looking good for full recovery now, but he's out of commission for 6 months.

With that said, I will be spotting for Shannon at the W.E. Rock Nationals in Texas. Jason can't make it, so I'm filling in for Nick. Looking forward to it!

Ya, Nick's Tarzan move didn't work out so well for him. OUCH! He was in good spirits at the XRRA race in Cortez over the weekend and seemed to be getting along on his own - fawker didn't want anyone to help him all weekend long.

Hope your foot doesn't take more than the 6 months to heal! In the meantime I'll drink plenty to make up for your lack due to the meds ur on...

Nick has been in the shop every day working doing quite a superman routine. He was supposed to stay off his foot for two weeks, but he was working the day after his surgery prepping the rock racer. You have some pretty big shoes to fill Lance, but we think you can do it.

When I saw Nick and Shannon in PA they were REALLY looking forward to that trip- can't blame them.

If that rope woulda been tied to Shannon's buggy, Nick would never have bailed!

Sorry to hear the news guys but I'm glad Shannon found a replacement spotter that is teachable cause he's so fresh in the sport

Couldn't have got a better spotter to fill the position (of course I heard Lance almost passed out when Nick lifted his broken foot out of the water....

)

The great part about Nick, is that no matter how much pain he was in...he never missed one hot girl whether we were in the truck or the store getting the pain meds. Poor guy did get stuck with a HUGE nurse after surgery.
