Hannibal Inn, just north of the event a few miles. Indoor pool, pool table, foose ball, etc.

I just talked to the guy at the hannibal inn and he said he would drop the room rate to $54 per nite if he could get 80 booked rooms, if not it is $69 per nite.

The Inn was cool ... until the fireworks came out. The dude at the front desk gave us a half ass warning and the next thing we knew, Barney Fife was tellin' us to go to bed.

That's when we came across the "badass" with the uni-boob.

There is a campground just up the highway from the event site,Injun Joe's is the name. It is the closest to the event site from what I could tell.

how far is it from the camp ground to the comp area? short walk? 20 minute walk?

it is a 43' motorhome with 25' of trailer behind it, does anyone know if that will fit in the camground?

The campground is not walking distance at all. Last time we had a reservation there but found out that the trail running from the site to the campground was more for 4wd vehicle than the Mule that we took to travel back and fourth. So we ended up staying at the comp site. We had a 39' RV and 26' trailer.

With the number of large rigs, vendor trailers and toter homes of the competitors, media and staff at the GNC spectators need to find lodging accomodations off site.
There are 2 very nice campgrounds listed at www.visithannibal.com
Injun Joes--just north of the park property
and
Mark Twain Campgrounds--about 10 minutes from the park.

Is anyone going to be heading in from the St. Louis airport around 12:30 am Fri, Sept 5th and going there about 5 am on the monday? I know sucky times but that's what school allows
