Where was everyone?

The weekend of 2/14-15 not one KOHer or LCQer testing, not one besides us!
I would have thought it would have been crawling with racers.
Saturday, we ran last year's course backwards (1 hour, 58 minutes, something must be wrong with our gps ) and Sunday, we just peeled out for 90 miles. My shoulders were killing me at the end of the weekend.
The trail conditions were perfect. Very little dust. A lot of wind (the Boone Rd. sign is listing again) and some more rain Sunday evening and Monday morning.

For the out-of-towners, when you pull into the lake bed to camp, avoid running over or near camp fire rings as they are full of nails.

We were testing. Just not at the hammers.

Its damn nice to drive a quarter mile and be in the wideopen AZ desert.

Scratch that powder coat yet?

Rick.

We were there the weekend before that....where were you?

Every time I've gone out lately I've had to come home and fix something. If we'd been racing we'd have been in trouble.

I spent the weekend wrenching.

Thats pretty fast, avg 25mph. Your car must be ten times stronger than mine. A run that fast would kill my car.

I was wrenching. Cant wait until next week, were going to have some fun.

Since you are so comfortable abusing your car before the race do you think i could borrow it for a few days next week; like monday through thursday to do some prerunning? Dont stress, i'll pay for the gas i use.

...it's a little faster doing the course in reverse order.

Yeah, Chris was there with his newest squeeze but he was on a bike.
