We sure didn't have the best of weekends in Cedar City, but wow did the Torchmate team do awesome. 1st and 2nd in Pro-Mod and the win in Unlimited. Nicely done! I was goin through my pictures from this weekend and realized that I took video of Bill Kunz and Mike Shaffers Shootout run. Here they are wrapping up 2nd place, and getting dangerously close to beating their teammates Brad and Roger Lovell. Congrats on the great finish guys!

Thanks for the video Dallas! I just can't say enough about how well that car works. I think that it with Mike Shaffer spotting, could make just about anyone look good.

Probably the most fun that I had all weekend was when Chad convinced Brad to lay down next to him while I jumped over both of them with the Traxxas RC crawler on Saturday night. We laughed and laughed. It couldn't have missed Brad by more than a few inches. I should have let off the throttle a little then and could have taken him out of the competition. My wife got video of the approach and then hit a button or something because you see the car speed towards them and then them get up laughing hysterically.

I really really enjoy these competitions. Having my family there for the first time made it extra special for me. Everyone has been so nice since the very beginning. I am one of the most competitive people that you will ever meet. I will win one of these events. If someone had to beat me though, I am glad it was Brad and Roger. Those guys are great competitors and just good people in general. We all get along very well.
