Cole Motorsports announces Build-A-Bear Rock Crawling Project
For Immediate Release
Greenville, SC – 6/1/2009 Cole Motorsports announces Build-A-Bear Rock Crawling Project. Starting with the second event and for all remaining events of the 2009 season, Cole Motorsports in cooperation with Build-A-Bear Workshops will be working to bring a little more joy to the young spectators of rock crawling events on the East coast. During the Hannibal MO event the team brought out 9 bears with each bear taking the co-driver spot in the buggy for one course. After each course the bear co-driver along with a Build-A-Bear gift card are then handed out to a lucky child in the crowd. ‘We wanted to show the fans that we truly appreciate them coming to the events and supporting us when we run’ said team driver Mike Cole. ‘This just gave us a way to give back to the kids that cheer for us while running. In the long run it also helps promote the sport and our team’. During each run the bear is secured into a co-driver seat that is specially made to allow the spectators to see them while the rig is on course. This way the child that receives the bear for any given course can enjoy the fact that they are receiving a real part of the team. Cole Motorsports team partners include Solid Axle Industries, Warn, Foothills 4WD and Performance, BFGoodrich, East Coast Differentials, Carolina Driveline, OX-USA, Yukon Gear and Axle, Sway-A-Way, Winchline.com, Blazer Motocross and Simple Green. Special thanks to Build-A-Bear Workshops for assisting in this project. Updates will be available from the team or through the team website at www.rockcrawlersdigest.com © 2009 Cole Motorsports ###

I would like to thank Dustin for helping to promote this during the event. He did an outstanding job of letting the kids know which course we were about to run. Can't wait till PA.
Here are some of the lucky children.

This is a great idea.I'm trying to get my six year old niece into rockcrawling and events like this sure would help.
![]() On a side note there is a similiar store only you get to build trucks and cars.I know there is one located in Branson,Missouri someone should hit them up for something like this. |
