I'm going to try but I have to work this weekend so not going to have alot of time to get the buggy ready. It will mostly depend on how many other ultra
4's are going to show up. If it just going to be a couple then probably not worth the cost especially with only 1 weekend to prep for stampede after.

You need someone out there to prep that car each race

Tell Mal to stay over this way for the weekend and I'll bring him out to the track and you can take him back to Colorado with you after the race!

Yeah, I'm figuring it will be a good test for all the new parts after Miller....

sucks to only have 1 weekend to prep for Stampede but I don't want another DNF again at that race.

So..... Kevin and Gary??? This is really cheap, fun, local racing for the So cal people. Just can't understand why more people don't run these races.

I wish we could make it out to this one but we will be at Speedworld doing shock tuning with Jack Adams and the BTG guys. I know Kyle LeDuc will be out there with his brand new Pro Lite which is bad ass.

Kevin went out this weekend hoping that at least a couple of Ultra4s might make it out. He had planned to use the race as a shake down for Stampede after some repairs after Miller.

Unfortunately, no other Ultra4s showed up. There were a lot of classes that didn't have anyone racing. I think with the LORRS main event there 2 weeks ago and so many other races this weekend, it just made it a tough weekend for Glen Helen.

Kevin talked with Lucas Oil about what he should do and they wanted him to run with the open V8 guys. The V8 drivers were all mostly from Arizona and apparently had run with some Ultra4s in Arizona and they were cool with it as they said they'd been able to beat or keep pace with the Ultra4s at the AZ regional.

Kyle LeDuc was in the combined pro-lite/pro-buggy/trick truck class (like I say a lot of folks didn't make it out for this race) in the race before the V8s and he was easily a half a lap ahead of the competition. The same thing happened in the Open V8 with Kevin racing.

Even though Kevin and Le Duc both were much faster than the competition in their races, Lucas Oil and the fans made it clear they appreciated them coming out for the show. All in all, everyone had fun.

For those that didn't make it out to the race.... you really should. The fans LOVE the Ultra4 cars! I can't tell you how many people stop by the 4435 pit throughout the day to take pics and ask questions.

Cool video, would be way better if you didn't have to listen to some hot head brag about winning the last race for the first 3 minutes!
