American Rock Rods chassis availability!

Hey guys! Chris from ARR posting on our shop account. If you want a chassis, or a price, or just want to ask some questions, call us, PM this account, or email us at mail@americanrockrods.com! Please contact us directly, or PM this account.

Prices for a non rolling bare chassis range from $2050 to $4525, depending on completion level, number of seats, and material. There are hundreds of available options you can add, including our custom hood seen below! We also accomodate special requests and do one off variations. Full Rollers and Turnkeys are available as well, but pricing and timeline on those would depend on what the specifics are.

We have TWO spots left on our 2011 chassis production schedule, so if you want a chassis before the end of the year, hurry up and get ahold of us! Each bare chassis takes a few days to produce from scratch. In the past month we have sold 7, hence our current backlog.

Two seater wheelbase is 104-110", while the four seater is best at 124-130". Next year we will debut our truck version with a ~112-115" wheelbase

Here are some random shop pics from the past few weeks just illustrating different chassis' builds:

First up, our fiberglass Mantis hood. Available with or without the front holes cut out, in black or white gelcoat.

The front hood line matches up perfectly to our front winch fairlead mount plate, but this chassis does not have the winch plates installed yet:

Custom spec enhanced Mantis 2 out of HREW made for a 6'6" driver:

Enhanced DOM 4 seater currently on the table, about an hour after we pulled the jigs. It will be getting a narrowed Bronco front end.

4 seater test chassis out of HREW. If anyone wants this, we will weld it up and sell it very inexpensively.

Production DOM Mantis 4 base:

This guy purchased a pair of DOM base 4 seaters:

If you want one like these, call us at 303-400-0205! To get put on the production schedule, we only require $1,000 deposit.

$2000 for that chassis.

As to your second question, no, we do not sell the raw data needed to manufacture a chassis.

That chassis is about 50% welded already. The few hours it will take to finish it won't really affect the price up or down.

Clifton left ARR to go be an EMT or at least, that is what I have heard. I assume you must have sent him an email to his email address which we don't access or PMed him to his personal account, which we also don't have access to. Clifton had no ownership in American Rock Rods.

We would be happy to give you a quote, and would have earlier had we known about the request.

Do you have any examples of completed Mantis builds, especially with your fiberglass hood? I'd like to see some pics.

Here is one, but no body panels except a narrowed YJ grill. Now it has a YJ hood as well.

Here is a different one. This photo was leaked onto the internet before completion, and it looks different now, but still gives you an idea:

We have sold more 4 seaters than anything else, but none that we have finished ourselves.

However, we will be doing the links on one in the coming weeks so once its done, we will have pictures of a roller.

As to a truck 4 seater? Very possible, but still undecided.

We found some pictures of a completed buggy on this years Trail Tour. This is the same one that was pictured earlier, just now in a different level of completion:

We've taken a few more orders and are now booked until early to mid January. That leaves just a few spots open to get one before we take 2 weeks off to attend KOH. Remember, we only require a $1000 deposit to be added to the production schedule. The remainder is due at chassis completion.

We have a Mantis 2 enhanced made from DOM sitting in the shop ready to go to a lucky owner! Has 0.188 lowers and dual fairlead winch plate. Yours for $3900.

Or, for $20k we will turn this 2 seater into a hell of a roller.

Axles, 17" Spyderlocks, up to 47" Pit Bulls, aluminum links, our custom fiberglass hood, 16" travel King shocks ,etc.

First person in 2012 to order a roller gets free body panels OR a pair of PRP seats.

You MUST mention this post to get this deal.
