Wide Open Design's new EVOLUTION Chassis - 2 seat Hill Killer
Wide Open Design Evolution Chassis - Click here!
Wide Open Design released the Revolution Series chassis in early 2011. They were designed for large trail rigs and competing in various forms of off road racing. Strength, Space and Style were all thoroughly thought out when designing this chassis line up. Well the demand came for a smaller " Hill Killer "/" Rock Bouncing "style chassis. While keeping true to our roots we wanted strength and style in this chassis. We knew we could give up a little space, due to the type of use this buggy would be built for. Along comes the "Evolution Chassis". Our 50" wide 2 seat chassis for the folks that like to beat down in the woods. We incorporated many ideas from our other buggies into this one. Built for big horsepower, full width axled, big tire, hill killin'. The Evolution has a more laid back A pillar, a much shorter rear end, slightly shorter front end and over all lower roof line. Specifications: ◦ Chassis is 50" wide at the widest point ◦ 110" to 120" wheel base ◦ The base chassis is designed with all of the main structure tubes 1 3/4" x .120 wall DOM tubing. ◦ The lower bars of the chassis at the belly pan are 1 3/4"x .188 wall DOM tubing. ◦ The rocker bars are 1 3/4" x .250 wall DOM tubing. ◦ The support tubes are a mix of 1 1/2" and 1 1/4" x .120 wall DOM tubing http://www.wideopendesign.com/Produc...n-Chassis.aspx ![]() http://www.wideopendesign.com/Produc...n-Chassis.aspx

We build a 4 seater Revolution chassis.
http://www.wideopendesign.com/Produc...t-Chassis.aspx We have not built a 4 seat Evolution chassis. We knew some people would be asking though. I think it could be made a 3 seater pretty easy. I dont think a 36" bench will go back there safely for a 4 seater. Rocky

The tire size for this chassis could be what ever you wanted. Most people use Rockwells with 54" tall tires and this chassis will fit Rockwells just fine.
So to answer your question. Yes this chassis will fit 54" tall tires. I think one would look sick on such a big tire and keep the chassis as low as possible.

Are you looking at just the frame or the complete rolling chassis?
