Seems like the Bobbed ones get a little better mileage- maybe 10-12 mpg?

100Dollarman, isn't the crewcab HotRodDeuce's truck? You guys may have seen HRT on the Discovery channel when they did visited his Drive A Tank park. The 5ton in the pic above HRT's truck is a Photoshop from one of the many discussions we had over on SteelSoldiers about various crewcab designs and ideas.

do you have more pics of the rear after its bobbed? would love to have it as a college football tailgate machine during that time of the year, as well as a great ranch truck.

Did you happen to sell this truck to a stealership in Ohio? I saw a truck that looks just like it yesterday at a used truck dealer here in my home town.

I have a 5 ton, but I am going to install 6 53" singles with a bobbed Deuce bed- (when I get time!)- not going to chop the frame.

I was thinking of that ^ but bobbed with 53's Guaranteed bad ass!!! and positive people would get the hell out of your way !!! My buddy and I drive for a living so it would be like normal for us to drive one of these beasts !! minus the 5 xtra gears !!! His work truck is a 7 spd, I have a 10 spd eaton in my work truck. I'd like to back the cummins up with a 10 spd in a 5 ton for xtra get up and go !!

We can make the bed however long a customer wants it, but when we use a M105 trailer bed those are 9' long.

When I get caught up a bit (have 3 more Bobbed Deuces lined up right now-) I think I might try a regular 12' deuce bed without chopping the frame, but lift it with 53" tires!!! That would be a BEAST!
