Only the guy filling fuel needs the suit and helmet, the rest of your crew needs the high vis vests you can buy at walmart. There's always grey area in the rules but just use common sense. If it doesn't specify the size of light or location use your best judgement, could I see that light coming at me if I was in another car?

Wish we new this stuff before I paid my entry. Now I have no choice to spend more money. The fire suit helmet rule for the guy fueling the car seems a bit overboard to me. Never seen this in any offroad racing

Yea kinda sucks. Light should be easy. We will need to borrow a suite and helmate from someone to bring I guess... Todd call you next week. lets pit together I think we can borrow a suit and just have the same guy fuel us both

We have 2 4" dia and one small amber in the rear, and oval trailer stt's with the factory ranger 3rd brakelight. No blue tho. Up front we have an 8" round amber.
What do you guys run for blue? About the only decent blue I can find is the 50$ KC oval. I'm all for supporting kc, is that the only one out there?

I have heard of people taking a clear LED light and painting it blue or putting transparent blue tape on it, other wise they are pretty expensive

I hope that means the same rules are in effect for us non-ultra 4 guys.

I have to say that very few if any of the faster guys are the type to just punt you, if you watch the mirrors you should be fine.
Hell Cambell will usually go by you in the pucker brush at a high rate of speed. But having been the recipient of a nerf from him Fucker packs a punch for such a small car.

Oh, and no taps!!! Only my rockcrawler brothers! And I agree with Brandon. I have never had an issue at any of these smaller races with getting punted. Its always some jackass at BITD in another limited class. Rob |
