If you could post what you find out that would be great. I really want to go check it out but its a four hour drive for nothing if I cant find a good place to watch.

This is not a spectator friendly event.You can see start,finish area and there will be vendors,food,portable bathrooms or go to rock area via 4wd access only.Area is private property and will be strictly enforced by ohv nm game and fish.We will have a great tech party tomorrow night at gardunos and a great race saturday.This is why its free to watch for spectators.We do take 10 dollar donations to give back to vollenteers for helping and cleanup after race .If you have 4wd you will be able to go to rock sections before race.See everyone at tech!

Yes soft sand, I had to drag my truck and trailer out of the pits with my buggy last year.
