Installed my heater under the dash which turned out nice, with defroster vents, and the. Started building my center console, it turned out bigger than I was thinking but that's alright, more room for stuff! The back part I'm thinking of citing a hole in and sliding in a small cooler to use as a glove box/cooler/arm rest.

The console looks great.

Got the rear shocks mounts finished and added some short tube supports, and the remote resivour tabs welded on and resivour clamped on,I also installed the new battery box on the passenger side behind the cab. The rear spring setup sucks, positive it won't work for crap they way they have it setup and I'm pretty sure they are stock f150 springs, I'm going to change the shackle setup back to the stock style with a long shackle but I need to find spring with a lot more arch, some lift springs for something, or get some 63's and have them rearched a lot

Well, still waiting on my motor to get done, it's getting close, just need to order a oil pan and oil pump and a few other odds and ends. Had to cut out front shock hoop/engine cage and bend up a new one to make room for the bigger shocks, made new lower shock mounts and plated the radius arms.

You really not going to get much *reliable* travel out of springs like those or 63s. You my get OK travel out of them by pushing them negative, but they won't last long in a truck like this. Pick up some deavers or similar with a ton of arch.

Scored a brand new set of 4" Seaver h57 10 leaf rear springs for $160! Now I can actually remount and flip the rear shackles and get some travel out of the rear, also my motor is done, just got to go drop of $1500 more and bring it home, can't wait to fire that things out and go put some "break in time" out on the street in front of my house lol

Digging the build and the modern makeover she is receiving! Came across you thread searching Pirate for Deaver Springs.

Which of the Oregon Dunes are you closest too?

Thanks! Just for testing sand lake is pretty close but we make a few trips to Winchester bay. I finally ordered up the rest of my parts, engine should be together next week and hopefully in, plumbing a Holley blue fuel pump and regulator, got my derale remote fan mounted trans cooler than I'm mounting in the rear cage, ordered dynomax 3" mini race bullet mufflers and picked up at set of 4.88 Richmond gears. I also picked up a set of like new wide beard super seats for $400! I need to go cut some spring hangers off another frame o have and get my rear deaver springs mounted l. I've been distracted lately helping my old man work on his new toy for race season!

Well I haven't posted in awhile! Got the motor down. And in and trans, got a pair of beard super seats and got them mounted and fuel system all plumbed up, just have to mount front shocks and limit straps. I tried to upload a video of burnouts but it won't let me?
