newb here....hi
I have a 76 ford f250 4x4 highboy, and I want to make it desert-worthy (mainly cause I cant trade it for a 2wd truck). It has a solid front and rear axle. I want to run 37s and I want it to do well. I know some solid axle trucks race, but I dont know what class it is for MDR or SCORE or what this falls under best. Really I just want to know if anyone makes and/or has some good riding leaf packs for this beast and I want to eliminate the blocks in the rear. Thanks!!

simple, call deaver and get some springs made, call fox/king/bilstein/swayaway, and get some shocks custom valved, build or have built a cage, go race stock full.
i'm sure i missed alot, but that seems like the basics oh ya, and get a SCORE rulebook, it will answer alot of your questions.

You looking to really race it, or just have fun when you get to the dirt. IF you want to race you need to like cage. but a cell and stuff. I would get the book and see thats the rules

i would like to build it to chase my buddy's 7stock, so it might as well be built for racing, and used for fun. I will cage it for sure. I sent deaver an email about springs, I might use Doestch Tech for shocks cause I have a wholesale acount with them and if I throw a sticker on the truck after it is painted, they might valve it for free. If it rides well and is strong enough, I think it would be fun to race too. I was hoping there is a hidden website or group of guys who know all the secrets to prerunning out a 66-77 F-250 4x4 and someone makes really inexpensive leaf packs for them. Thanks!!

Would have been easier with a F-100 or 150 but I;m sure it can be done, I'm sure it wont be cheap though.
