Are many people desert racing with C4s? I know I have seen a few race trucks with 302's and c6's and 302's and TH400's but I can't remember seeing a C4 in anything but a 7S ranger?
I'm not saying it won't work at all. I'm only asking because I am building a multiuse buggy with a C4 and I am afraid of braking planetaries in the desert type stuff. |

Racing MDR/SCORE/ having fun in the dezert
Its based off of a 9" and we did most of the work on it, all lazer cut parts. Our 302 is very much stock so a c4 will do fine. Most ranger prerunners run a c4. The a pillar will be tied into the cab cage very soon. |

So are y'all here to hang out for a while? i think it would be cool to have some different opinions voiced on this site, seems like too much same-old, same-old around here.

Fwx or Perrys is best, Maniak's quality lacks. But we got a great deal on it being used, but new, so couldnt pass it up

Looks sweet I raced the a ranger for 9 years with some buddies won vegas to reno in 97 class 7 open .My buddy has a whole fiberglass ranger excab body one peice frontend in brentwood Ca. up north .Call him if interested @925-513-0676 Awesome fab work only thing I see you might want to change is the Lowrance position more in front of co-driver out of your vision as a driver It will distract you .On raceday your a driver and thats it not a navigator !another thing we did in our truck was made it so the driver and co-driver had in car and the codriver only had radio communication to the pit crews less stress on everyone

Fab-
Thanks for your input. We've been happy with the GPS location running that location in our old truck, and also our co driver/fabber's old truck. Also its nice to be able to see the GPS as a driver as sometimes. As far as radio communications, all 3 people will be included in the intercom, and all 3 can communicate out. Keep in mind this truck was built for having fun, prerunning, chasing, racing, Glamis etc. We will run headsets when not racing and going fast. Its just a fun truck that can be comfortable anywhere. Will have the windows in and all when its drivable. Heres some more |
