2007 Jeepspeed Challenge Dates

After meetings with Best in the Desert, SCORE and Mojave Desert Racing we are publishing our dates as follows.

Feb 2/3/4. Best in the Desert Blue Water Resort Parker 425......Parker , Az.

March 31. Mojave Desert Racing Mojave 250......Barstow, Ca.

June 1/2/3. SCORE International Baja 500......Ensenada, Mexico. NON POINTS RACE.

Aug 11. Mojave Desert Racing California 200 NIGHT RACE.....Lucerne Valley, Ca.

Sept 29. Mojave Desert Racing Lucerne 250......Lucerne Valley, Ca.

Nov 31 & Dec 1/2 Best in the Desert Henderson Terrible 400....Henderson, Nv.

BITD can only give us the $360 discounted entry fee at two races but have agreed to waive the Iritrack system for Jeepspeed. (other competitors must pay $250 per race plus sign up fee).

MDR have move up our $5000 bonus money to 25 starters but will have lower bonuses for 15 and 20 levels.

SCORE mandate Rally Logger system but Rally Track Inc is giving Jeepspeed a discount rate to be announced by Henderson.

The dates were decided by the above factors and the fairly equal spacing of dates for race car prep.

Points will be awarded equally for each Challenge race and all races will count (no dropping worst event as in past).

Baja 500 is not part of the 2007 Challenge series but a stand alone adventure for those that want to take the Baja test.

Good luck to all in 2007. It will be a big year for Jeepspeed. We predict 30 starters at some races.
