BITD TV Coverage in '07!! - Pirate4x4.Com : 4x4 and Off-Road Forum

OK...not sure if this should be announced...but when has that ever stopped anyone on Pirate...Looks like Casey has come through again in terms of media coverage, etc. for BITD...BITD races will once again be broadcast on the Outdoor Channel in '07!! The difference this year is that the broadcasts will have the full production support of the Outdoor Channel and not just of BITD....the Outdoor Channel has committed TWO helicopter crews and SIX ground crews to cover the action...Additionally...the broadcasts will have Wally Dallenbach as the commentator!! All in all a great job in getting all the races covered by a national network...Don't know if any other offroad series can say that!! If you are has happy as I am with this coverage please shoot a message off to the Outdoor Channel at this link: BITD comment page...
letting them know how happy you are that they are covering this series...Good luck to all in the '07 season!!

That's good news, for sure, but isn't Dallenbach a roundyround racer? Why can't they hire a desert racer?

That is great news!!!
BTW, Roundy round is only Wally's latest gig...
He and His Father both ran many different venues, including off road.
I am pretty sure they both have Pike's Peak victories.
I think he will surprise you.
Wally seems much better behind the camera than I expected.
