SWEET Light Racing Trophy Truck
I found this at Light Racing's Off Road Impact booth. Looks like Bryan Kudella did it again... The very first TT with a disconnecting rear anti-sway bar + Light Racing's new Compact Jounce Shocks. What a work of art!

Disconnecting it would give the truck a distinct advantage in slow rough stuff. Each year it seems the course in Baja gets rougher, so having the ability to disconnect the bar is probably a good thing. It would help keep the tires in contact with the ground when articulation is needed. I bet it stays locked up solid 98% of the time though.

Wow. I would have thought it was much more. I thought even the Geiser trucks were more than that.

I totally agree about the truck not being unreasonable in price. The detail on this thing was incredible!! I didn't see any pics of it on this post, but even the cooling fans on the back were beautiful! For the amount of talent put into this truck (design and fabrication wise) I think this truck is incredible and a great deal! Thanks for posting up the pics!

what would you suggest using?? some billet elastomeric bling links ha ha, better than letting them get chewed up by coilovers etc and failing leading to more expensive failures from overextension?? that thing is..............incredible, would like to see what the power plant looks like, one day I keep telling myself

Do trophy trucks use a torsion style sway bar? If so then the disconecting them will allow them to run a stiffer rate to counter the roll. When are they gonna have self adjustable spring rate/ride height so that they can handle like a rally car then open er up and hit some woops with full travel? I really wanna hit up the parker 425 now, laughlin sucked.

For the people at the show, was Bryan there and did anyone get to talk to him in any length? I talked to him a while back about the geometry of flared holes for my senior design project and need to get back in touch with him. When I talked to him he sounded like he had his hands full making sure Specialty Products was getting off the ground and I didn't know if he was getting away from designing as much but I sure hope not!
