with the IRS you adjust ride height by clocking the torsion bars and spring plate. as far as "messing things up " raising ride height will require you to compensate for new angles that will effect everything from your center of gravity to your axle and cv joint operating angles. one thing always leads to another. I suggest you reserch the topic until you understand everything going on with the suspension. there are many degrees of aftermarket parts available to upgrade your suspension from mild to wild. just reclocking your stock parts is not going to net you much gain.

This book will tell you every thing you need to know, as long as you just want to beat up a Baja and have the time of your life. If you want to suck all the fun out of it, then research it like camo said. (I'm all about the book)

If you find your self later on needing more angle then the bus or bug c/v's will allow we are making new axles for these- they get allot of angle and work well- Jess
