toy suspension kits
im getting a 91 2wd standard cab toy pickup from a buddy of mine and im gonna use it as a dirtbike hauler/commuter. id like to get a little more than stock suspension travel, or just a little better ride. whats the most bang for your buck under $1000. im not trying to build a prerunner, just want to be able to drive dirt roads in relative comfort. i was thinking shocks, energy suspension bump stops??
ove looked at total chaos and its awsome but not in my pricrange (i have an sas'd taco that takes up all my extra$$) if anyones got any ideas, lemme know. thanks -DT |

i'd say try and find some fabtek spindles and upper arm but they don't make them anymore and most out there are bent from being over used. There's not much you can do besides upgrade the torsion bars and crank them, and a body lift since you can't get spindles anymore for them. Good luck.

I would suggest some ball joint spacers (http://www.4crawler.com/4x4/ForSale/...ntSpacer.shtml) for the front and new leaves for the rear (Deaver, Alcan, National) with some quality shocks like Bilsteins at all four corners. You should be able to do that within your budget and have vastly improved ride quality.
