Coverage of the cars/buggies today on the Outdoor Channel at 6 and 9 pm and midnight Eastern times. Be on the lookout for the X in the background perhaps!! Next week is the trucks with a better chance of seeing the X but you may spy our sister teams--the Gerber buggie and the Blakely buggie in this episode.... And the Pirate team (if it appears) will likely appear next week during their truck coverage...

Just watched it at the 9pm Eastern showing...timed all the ads...14 minutes 30 seconds of advertisements in total...so not bad...44 minutes and 30 seconds of actual broadcast coverage...Thought the broadcast was good for what it was--which was coverage of the 1500, 1000, 2000, and Jeepspeed classes...showed all winners and most of the top 5 of each class and showed final standings for each class...in some cases I wish there was less talking and more just pure audio of those awesome sounding engines but thats a minor quibble...All in all...not bad for a race that covers 140 miles for each lap...a lot harder to cover than a little 1 mile oval....Oh...and Steve Kramer from Calmini even made it into the coverage with his Jeep as well...even if it was just for a moment...
