![]() http://www.pirate4x4.com/gallery/baja250_07 Ok, as promised, here are some pictures of our week so far in Ensenada. There are pics of us pre running in the "Harbor Freight" Trophy truck (that's Pete's pre runner. "If Harbor Freight sold a pre runner, that's what they'd sell. It looks like a Trophy Truck, but it really isn't." The Trophy Truck is ready to get it, and we took it for a quick rip last night to make sure it was dialed. HOLY CRAP it's FAST!!!!! 700hp and 30+" wheel travel really GETS IT DONE. ![]() Anyhow, we should start around 10:30AM PST today. You can watch us LIVE on Iri Track's website at http://www.irctracking.net/baja250/follow.html You might have to register on their site to watch, but it's worth it. It's VERY COOL to watch us. Just look for #2 Trophy Truck Pete Sohren.

Pete and Lance Finished at 7:09 (about 5 hours behind the winner). Across finish 124th ahead of some other Trophy Trucks. Wonder what broke?

Yes, it went off a 100' cliff into the ocean. Everyone was okay and the truck was recovered. They got a backhoe and slowly pulled it to shore with a strap. Probably only good for parts now, the chassis broke in a few places. From the above post it may have come in on the trailer was probably left out
![]() Picture here: http://bp0.blogger.com/_6d2J4H20AN8/...aja2500710.JPG Mark Post TT#3 arrested at the finish line for running from the federales and spent the night in jail. I read he was released this AM but his truck is still in impound

Not sure what that list is maybe a check point list..
76 made it home but likely that truck will never race again. J.J. and Double D are both OK. Shaken but not stirred. The pirrana where trying to stripp the car minutes after in was ditched into the ocean. Acordding to J.J. the cliff was around 25 feet, but the car landed around 75 feet out from the cliff. If the tide had been up This story might not have had a good ending. Car landed driver side down in the water. Local's saved the truck with a Backhoe. Not much left.
