Dodge CTD smackin' some whoops

Put more high speed compression in some KING 2.5's than you should..

My 04.5 CTD, KING 2.5" smoothies all around, no airbumps(but front BASF type), Hungry Valley(Gorman) SVRA whoops right outside the "off-road" test area..

FULL SPEED VIDEO

Best thing then to do would be to go with a set of Carli LT Bags.

That was cool.

And from a truck that could tow another one just like it behind it!

Now if I just had $50-$60K to build my own... :crying:

I know Lippy Larry would love it too! Might want to PM him! LMAO

Cool video,
Rick.

P.S. Just imagine rollin out to camp with your 40ft Weekend warrior, towed by a Long bed quadcab CTD. Park it, then unload your Short bed CTD toy! That would be Awesome!!!

alright... dish some specs on the coils and shocks and rear springs f-cking sick. I'm about to long arm 2) 04.5's shortly and if I can make them that happy it would be nice

when you say smoothies I'm guessing you have coils still and it looks like there's leafs out back stuff. Just wondering what you have! works GREAT MAN!

As is, put 600lbs in the bed and I squat 2". I'm going to run some Timbrens in the back for hooking up the trailer, then take 10min to pull them if I need to go mob around once the trialers dumped..

Supensions pretty basic really. No coil overs, no airbumps, just some good shock valving and nice soft springs..

No yellow star so I don't want to step on any toes, so I'll just give some tech info, though I should just man up and get one. Wheres info on that I can't find it..

330lb front coils, 4" back half extended SOFT rear leafs with required longer shackle, 10" travel 2.5" KINGS with WAY more valving than realistic in the front.

This video is the result of a little shock valving competition with a friend, to see where a 2.5" could be taken. The fronts got SOOO hot so fast it's kinda stupid to valve the shocks to do this, and then have to stop and let them cool. I have front 3.0's showing up today, which should be fun to play with..

Bahhhhhhh you only need the yellow star if you're trying to sell this work to anyone on here.... specs are all good. If everything you said was started with... "Hey come to my shop and buy all this stuff I'm the best that ever lived"

then you'd need a yellow star... but you can say whatever you want w/ out a sales pitch attached to your goods. The yellow star is worth it though... we talk crap about everyone w/ out yellow stars in our private yellow start forums It's a good time!

thanks for the info! sick sick sick.

So the coils are just????? coils.... frommmm???? not that I'm going to run right out and get them the second you tell me or anything!

Sweet lookin' truck. Do you have any pics of how the bed was cut in back and the rear bumper? Also, just curious why there is a hole cut in the front passenger fender?

Thats not the same video from DTX, is it Don? Dont remember the multiple passes, up and down, side to side, up and down, circling around, slapping those whoops like a hooker giving you an attitude about what you're paying her to do......
