Update to an old thread. The Fat City buggy is now owned by Nathan Unruh from Clovis, CA who raced in KOH 08 in his Formula Toy and finished. Nathan has also competed in WeRock competitions for the past few years. The car will be in good hands.

Nathan will be starting KOH 10 in the 4th position and will be joined by Scott Hartman, 2009 Baja 1000 Jeepspeed winner and long time desert and rock crawling driver. The Dust Junkies Race Team will be doing the pit support for the car along with Dunn Tech Motorsports and the pencil pushers of FOJV. We should be on the lakebed a week from this Saturday.

Can't wait to drive it, I'll only have a few days to get comfortable in the car before the big race.

Cool to hear Nathan and Scott will team up.
A question about this though:

Jeff always called Scott a trail tampon, not a rockcrawling driver...who's right in this case??? I assume it's Jeff as the bio sounds more like a PR ploy to me!

See you guys on the lakebed!

I still think it was/is one of the better looking cars ever built. Great lines on that rig.
