Home Built Stacks (Gas engines) IDEAS TIPS AND MORE!!

Just wondering how many people have built their own stacks and let alone ones on gas engine trucks. My friend has a set and he made them himself and now i have the idea bugging me to try it. I want to know what i should look for how hard (doesn't seem like it would really be to hard) But what i really want to see is some designs because i dont want plain old chrome straight stacks or the 1 giant one in the middle.

diesel ricer thread in GCC

nevermind all the bad remarks in there

but we would love to see some pictures of your work

once you start on this idea

A better idea would be to dump a gallon of gasoline over you head and set yourself on fire. It would be much more entertaining and we wouldn't have to put up with this foolishness for near as long. Hurry up, I'm waiting with the marshmallows...

I will try not to sound like a dick when I answer this one, but I am warning you that I might slip accidentally!!!!
First you have to stop and think about how the result will look and sound, no matter if you use the best materials, it will still be a GAS truck with a Stack/Stacks. There is no GAS engine that will never sound like a turbo diesel with Stacks.... Just some food for thought.

I vote you tie the stacks into a roll bar in the bed that way nobody can see it until you start it up and they can hear the awesomeness. Don't forget to include a J-trap so the rainwater can't make it back to the motor a gas motor wont push the water out as well as a diesel would. There is even a picture here on pirate http://img1.pirate4x4.com/forum/show...postcount=5373
