What's different from Magnum vs non 360?

Hello, there is a newbie around! I am a newbie to the board, and to Mopars, and have a question.

I have a 1991 Dodge W-250 with a 360 gas throttle body injected motor. It is a complete slug. I was wondering if anybody knows what the difference between a Magnum 360 and the non-Magnum is, if a non -Magnum can be converted, if I'm just wasting my time, or if there are any other possibilities to gain some power. (Only minor engine mods are done right now, with K&N, 3 inch cat back, and 4.10 gears.)
Any answers or help would be welcome!

Thanks-DR

are you sure it is a tbi? i thought 91 has mpi. i could be verywell wrong. anyone? if its tbi, i dont know how well the computer can handle mods. the mpi can handle very few before it gets out of whack. let me know if tbi or mpi.

Well, maybe I'm confusing my terms. It's a fuel injection system that basically looks like an electronic carb, and for all I can tell it looks like a small 2-barrel. I first thought it was a carb, and when I bought the truck was intending to swap to a 4-barrel, and possibly install a set of Mopar Perf heads from a fairly new 360 crate motor. Then I started looking, and realized it was efi! I felt like a moron then. From what I can tell, all the minor power upgrades for spacing the throttle body are for later injection systems. So maybe I have the the terms mixed up. (It does look like a Holley Throttle body though.) I guess I should also specify that the truck is a driver, and is used to tow a CJ-5 or a Suzuki Sam, although it has found it's way onto a trail or two.
Thanks for the help so far.

Hey DR:
I'm relatively new to Mopars as well, but I submitted the post that questions the Mopar buffs.
I have a 91 318 (5.2L) TBI (Throttle body injection) that I'm looking to put into my 1990 Jeep. I have no doubts that what you have is a Fuel injected engine as well. I received a few replies that explain some of the differences between the "std" and "Magnum" engines, so I recommend taking a look at my post. I picked up a 94 "Magnum" engine that threw a rod and plan on taking the heads and intake (MPI-Multi port injection) and placing them on the 91 "std" engine. I'll be comparing the block to head mating surfaces, bolt holes, water/oil passages, valve sizes, etc, etc. I hope to begin over the next week or so and plan on documenting my discoveries.
Feel free to get in touch with me directly although I plan on posting some of my findings on this forum. Talk to you soon.
