Changing plugs on the new 4.7 engine...
Ok, so i've got 50k km (35k miles) on my 2000 Dak now, and it's time i changed the plugs.
(Along with a shit-load of fluids i had the dealer change) So ask my buddy for a hand, and we get in his garage start lookin around and figure how to get the job done. Start unscrewing the bolts holding the plunger things on top of the plugs. Well, we try pulling them off.... Had to use a tire iron, really long screw driver etc to pry these things out. A very little bit of dirt got in there and was jamming them in place. What a PIA!!!! Took us 2+ hours to get her done... I couldn't believe how much trouble just changing the plugs was... If anyone is gonna do this in the future, disasemble all the airbox crap on top first, and loosen up the A/C hoses so you can get in there more easily. We didn't take those parts off until we were done 4 of the plugs.
