Ram Van 3500's ball joints?

i know tis has nothing to do with 4x4s but im trying to replace the ball joints on my moms 2001 ram 3500 van and i cant figure out if the ball joints are pressed into the a-arms or the knuckles. if they r pressed into the a-arms im giving up tryin to replace them myself because i dont feel like dealing with the strut, but if they r pressed into the knuckle how in the world do i get the damn thing off so i can press out the old ball joint and press the new one in? thanks.
