97 CTD Dana 60 no 4WD???
Anybody got any ideas on this...
Front driveshaft is turning, axleshafts don't turn, no 4WD light on the dash when I shift gears. I never heard a pop, or any weird noises??? It's too cold right now to crawl under and pop the cover. I can't think of what the problem might be???

CAD is malfunctioning. Sometimes the fork gets bent and won't slide the coupler over. Vaccumn lines could be unhooked. Just do away with the OEM vaccumn crap and put a Posi-lock cable on so you know it gets engaged. My dad bent a couple forks with the OEM setup. Once we put the posi-lok on, you can feel if its engaged, before putting power to the 4wd. When it bangs in, is when the fork gets bent.

Dammit, I wondered about the vacume lines, but I can't tell where they run. Even looked in my manual. I just had the rear brake line replaced, and I'll be those asshats unhooked one.

CAD =Central Axle Disconnect.. It is the vacumm actuator on the passenger side axle that hooks the two piece axle together..
