BDS 5 inch lift

What do you guys think about the BDS 5 inch lift components for a '98 Dodge? I have 3 inch skyjacker coils right now and 3 inch Rancho coil spacers laying around, but I don't have the money for long arms right now. Does anyone have experience with BDS control arms? I might be getting them for real cheap, so that's why I would run them. How do they flex? How do they ride? Any opinions would be appreciated.

I checked out a set on a local truck, and they looked good. I too need a set of extended arms, and were looking @ BDS and RCD. Can you get two sets?

I got some a couple of months ago from Xtreme suspensions out of texas. They are really stout and the brackets are all laser cut and machine-welded. I like them. Go to their site and check 'em out. I think they are Cepeck long arms and they're good for 5-8 inches they say, although I'm not sure how they figure they are good for that wide of a window.

I've looked into all the long arm kits, and the Cepeks and others are just too expensive for me right now.
azlineman, I'm only looking at one set from a private seller.

CORam, Some people wouldn't want to do this but when i bought the Cepek kit I was just going to make the arms and bracket myself. Not sure if that's a possibility for you or not, but just thought I'd mention it.

Who has the Cepek arms now? Texas Truck Toys were selling them, but they're no longer in business. Will BDS sell the arm/bracket kit alone? Anyone got a line on BDS parts? Looks like BDS part/box #'s 012511 & 012512. I have a set of Skyjacker arms that i'll want to get rid of, if I can find the long arm kit to replace.

I have the bds arms and they are fine. Very similiar to skyjacker except the tubing is square. You can't go wrong with either except bds has a lifetime warrantee.

BTW: Here is a link to the cepek kit:
http://www.extremesuspensions.com/li..._kit_index.htm

They will sell the just long arm kit separately for around $550.

Have you guys seen these long arms? A lot of people like these better than the Cepeks because they are thicker and stronger, and they're custom made by this guy and way cheaper than the Cepeks. I've wanted them for a while, but the costs start adding up when I think about running those. Check them out, the guy is on PavementSucks.com and I think his username is RockReadyGuy or something like that. He seems really nice, I've swapped several emails with him.

This auction is over but just so you get an idea:

The arms and the bracket are probably fine, but that bracket doesn't look all that beefy. You may not need it, but you get what you pay for ya know? And they're only $100 cheaper.

Cool, what's his name over there. I'm always a little wierd about people that make things themselves (which is wierd because all of us do), but I'd like to check his stuff out.
