Finally making tube fenders....

My rig is a '97 so what you see should fit '94-'01's....it's made out of 1 3/4" .120 HREW, I will post more pics later showing where to cut etc...enjoy....

Oh and they still retain the factory front lights/turn signals...

Been lookin and figured if I wanted it done I gotta do it on my own, I think with that set up (I have a 5.5" super lift on it and 35's) if you move the suspension point fwd about 2-4" you could possibly maybe run 44's on that amount of lift. You would have to move it fwd because the tire would hit the fire wall.

BTW, any specs on your Dodge? dont believe ive seen your rig before.
It's a 1500 SLT with the 5.9 magnum (360), 47RE, NVG241OR (Rubicon T-Case), also a superwinch 16.5K winch yet to be completely mounted, and sometime real soon (got the axles) 2.5T Rocks, and 44's

Thumbs up

Subscribed. Hoping you'll give me some ideas on how to do something like this and retain/include my TR bumper. Right now I'm leaning towards retaining the fenders with an exo and running it into the bumper since the bar already follows the headlights pretty far to the outside.

Leave the lower section of your TR bumper, and add your own cage to your design. That would be the best in the end.

But I feel you. Doing a cab exo, and tying it to the bumper via a fender bar would be an economical way to protect everything

Either I grew some or I am severely retarded (uhh I ment mentally challenged)

I looked at mine then started cutting and by the time I was done, I was committed, and now I am glad I did it and it came out the way I wanted...and it's not that hard to do... I will post more pics hopefully over the next w/e... since I work at least 50 hrs during the week and I only have time on the w/e... when the family allows... I should hopefully have the fenders completed and the front bumper finished with the winch mounted...then it's primer time... after that it'll be sliders and maybe exo ?? lots to do....so please be paitent and I will update when possible...(hopefully, it'll be worth it in the end)

Sorry not yet, I have 47 hrs already in at work this week, no time, and my buddies shop is about 30 miles from my house, but will get back on it Saturday and hope to have some new pics soon....It was my intention to try and keep the factory lights for ease of replacement and functionality, I searched high and low for ideas and found none, the closest was RAMV's rig but personally disliked what he did with his fenders, so I just asked myself, if dodge were to make an extreme off road rig what would they do ??? so that's my philosohy on this build... and maybe someone higher up will see it as well I hope I have lots of good pics so it's easier for others to follow...should I include measurements ?? and where to bend ???
