While I'm not going to get any more involved in the shit slinging, I do have to agree that you should expect this sort of thing when you come into a section that is all Dodge owners with a vehicle that has an Brand-X engine. We had a similar question over at RCC the other day about swapping a GM 350 into a Ramcharger. The reason? He wasn't familiar with Mopar small blocks. To me, that is a piss poor reason to ruin the resale value of a truck and spend a lot more money building a GM engine and swapping it into a Dodge when a 360 is a bolt in deal and is comparable to a 350 in all ways. Granted an old military truck is a common form to swap drivetrains in and there are probably hundreds of M37s and their M715 replacements out there with GM small blocks in them from various swaps done by fire departments that got them from the US Government, and yes there was a kit to do the swap many, many years ago.
Still, you have to expect this just as if I went over to the Chevy forum here on Pirate and started showing off a 440 powered K5 Blazer. Don't believe me? Try it and see what happens. Same thing over at Ford. If you really are into the S&M thing or maybe just need to feel abused go into the Chevy forum and tell them you swapped in a Ford engine or vice versa. Either way it's a nice M37 and while I would have kept it all Dodge, to each his own. However, my Ramcharger will remain all Mopar, down to the lug nuts.

And to make you happy, here is my "old" Dodge.
1940 WC21. It won't be getting disgraced though. The running straight 6 in it will reside there the rest of it's life when I can afford the rebuild kit for it. It's a project in the works, so it's not as pretty as yours ![]()

I think it's time to move on and get back to pics of Mopars and related things. All this bickering is tiresome and makes us all look bad in one way or another. We all have opinions and preferences and they aren't always compatible but all this BS flying around accomplishes less rather then more. Relax, take a deep breath and post something useful. All in favor?

Also, no I'm not a kid, did I ever say I was smarter than said person? No. Seems like you're teh child BIGDADDYJK for attempting to make fun of a user name lol. Calling me inbread? Pathetic. Did I call someone stupid? No. Did I call someone an idiot? In a sense, but only cause said person used it. Did I call someone any other choice words? No. Quit making up stuff. I just noted on how putting a Chevy motor in a Dodge is a disgrace, and teh butthurts come out. Posts deleted for DRM sake.

Thanks!
I've been thinking about putting a 5.9 Magnum in the TJ. It's a really easy swap, but I'm going to start working on the Power Wagon and get it finished first. I have big plans for it.
