Went and played in the snow this morning, with the V-10, 4.56 gears and locker, the truck is a donut machine I am going to have to add some weight to the back for sure. Once I get the tool box mounted and all the spares and tools in it I think it will help alot. It sure is fun now though![]() ![]()

![]() Update on the GCSRT-8: ![]() But I am planning a move west in the next 1-2 years, and started thinking about how hot the truck would get in the desert in the Summer, and the truck is still partially red, so I won't have to re shoot the door jambs and under the hood. I don't have any overall pics of the truck with the sides installed, and they are at the body shop right now. |

Picked up a 48" tool box for the bed to carry my jack, tools, and spares today, I will post up more pics when I get it mounted and filled. I am still waiting on the body guy, hopefully in the next 2 weeks I'll be able to get it over there.

Funny, I've been fighting off an itch to buy a 2000 Ramcharger, if it were a 4x4 the Ram would be for sale..
Before you say there was NO 2000 Ramcharger, its a Mexican one http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false |

There was one on Ebay last week in Jefferson City MO. would have been a lot closer to you. I'll watch in case it comes back up. It was written up as a Chevy Tahoe http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...=STRK:MEWAX:IT
It went to $7100 reserve not met or $11,000 price |

I think they are interesting but the fact that they are all 2WD and have Caravan taillamps and hatch is just too weird.

![]() The Caravan hatch is a good thing IMO, at least they are easy to find if damaged, I can't even imagine trying to find replacement sheet metal for a vehicle that was not even sold here! Last edited by Murfman1967; 03-10-2011 at 12:58 PM. |

Just fly down, dive it back, and if you use a US 2500 as a 4WD donor, just use it's title and VIN for US registration.

Just read your thread. Bravo on that update. On the PW axles with the lockers, are they the same ones in Jeep JKs? I give kudos like the others on the switch integration of the roof console. I've seen another version of that elsewhere. Mine has the computer there though and I don't use the sunglass or garage door pockets so I may use those locations. I really like the thought in the rear bumper tube work, especially retaining the hitch. I don't tow, but my hitch has become good protection.... lol |

(No posting after bed time :o )
I meant is it the mopar electric/magnet actuated locker. Axles are completely different in size among other things. If the lockers are the same actuation type i was just curious how they're holding up. Hope that is clearer, but still need mg coffee.

I'm not at all familiar with the JK Rubicon Lockers, and the Lockers in my TJ Rubicon axles are air operated. I have not heard of any major issues with the PW lockers. Time will tell... If I ever get the truck back together
