Funny, I went to Pahrump to get this last spring: (it is a 1953 Plymouth Suburban)

I had to look twice to see if it was the same seller, as he had a ton of old Iron for sale. As for the talent... Damn is all I have to say

Well this is my first post on this forum and I am now the proud owner of this monster truck. Still trying to figure out if it's a 315 poly or 318 poly.

Here she is!!!!

Engine is a Poly but not sure if it's a 315 or 318. I need to do some research on it.

This is one bad truck just the way it sits.

I think it would look better without the dual rears.

Is that a 1 or 2 barrel intake? I've got one looks pretty similar sitting in the garage and haven't yet been able to accurately ID it. I THINK mines a 2 barrel and yours looks like a 1, but I don't know either for sure at the moment.

I say it does look badass as it sits. Gotta keep the duals unless you have specific off road plans.

Looking at the pics I would say that is a 315. The 318 had an intake manifold that sealed the top of the motor without a valley pan. good news is you can bolt a set of red ram Hemi heads on that block if you were so inclined.

if its the original engine it would be the 315 poly. but some people upgraded to the 318 poly for a power upgrade. as the 315 is kinda slow.
