A buddy of mine from work has an early 80's Dodge W-50 4x4 He has a 5 Spd now and the synchros are going so he wants to swap in an auto he has a 318 V-8 What will fit fairly easily.

904 or 727 should be able to fit, with right extension housing and op shaft (folks here call them adapters mostly). I'm thinking chryco sold mitsu some of their 4x4 904 trannies but I been wrong before.

I am assuming that you meant W150 since you say it has a 318. use the 727 it is a bolt in and will take aboput the same amount of time as swapping clutchs and you can get a new brake peddle from any dodge truck to replace the current brake peddle and clutch peddle you have.
