Question Hardtop seals needed........

I am looking for the weatherstrip seals for the removable hardtop on my 78 Trailduster. I need the ones between the top & body.Anyone know of any places that might sell these?

The dealer still sells them last time I checked. They were very expensive. Around $300 if my memory is right. I used some seals that were meant to go between a camper shell and the rear window of a pickup. I got them from a camper shell place for $40. Hope that helps.

Unhappy

the dealership here says no way. I have exhausted all my known sources. Tired of wet lap when it rains& silicone just doesn't cut the professional look.

I have no clue how the ramcharger roof is put on, but I know on the jeeps, you just use the cheap hardware store stuff. Costs like $3 a roll.. needed 2 rolls for my buds wrangler.. or are you talking about the strip above the windshield? For that I would just use the RTV.... and make it look kinda clean <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0">

Oh, and if they say no way because it is too old.. that is BS. Just call other dealerships.. sometimes they just change the numbers and dont tell the parts people, and so they try and use old numbers. Also try www.mopartruckparts.com He may be able to find them.. seems to be able to get anything i need.. but then, i dont need that much stuff for these trucks anymore.. since i have my 96 as a daily driver now (though, nowhere neer as reliable as my old 77)
