Just wanted to say good work on this baby. I was skipping through google images looking for a turbo setup for my current build and was like, what???? Nice lines man it came out very clean. Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see the inside vids before the go on trucks gone wild.

thanks for all the compliments, I found a shop in wellington right off 1st and main, where the best rental building used to be. All are welcome to come drink some beer and hang out anytime. If you see my welding truck in the lot stop in, Ill be there. As far as the truck goes, still got a long way to go. Pretty much all the expensive stuff now, but a little at a time and some occasional forward progress and itl get done soon enough... Thanks again

I would like welderrwc72 to put on a welding class at his shop. Im seeing if there would be any interest for something like that. Any kind of welding. Something on a weekend. For the guys that are diy. Any interest speek up cause he gets called all the time about teaching people. Just a Question.

Well got the fuel tank mounted, fuel pump mounted, fuel lines made and ran. Hooked up the engine block ground and started positive cable via jumper cables (welding lead cables)bled the fuel lines. Jumped the starter solonoid and it turned over very very slowly. Checked all the connections, wiggled em around, had a rum an coke and wiggled em some more. still very slowly turned over. wtf having some trouble gettin her turning over as fast as usuall. Left the shop with the block warmer plugged in maybe that will help. Dont Know

yeah, how cold is it and how tip-top are your batteries?
it takes a LOT to crank these puppies over.

Got to get some heat pads on that thing and plug it in for a couple hours. If it's not set up grab an electric blanket and wrap the engine. Or you can take a charcoal grill ang stick it under the engine. A space heater with OSB leaned up around your rig works too.

Ya sounds like hes had some cold weather experiance!!! I had the cables hooked up to my 07 cummins while it was running and the truck has been in the shop for about a week. Its cold in there but I keep the heaters just above freezing. The truck hasnt ran in about 3 years so that probly doesnt help. It was wierd how it wouldnt turn over very fast, Ive been able to jump heavy equipment on pipelines all the time with my welding truck, but it just didnt seem to want to roll it over very fast at all. I left the heater in that bay a little warmer and I plugged the motor in so Ill go back in a day or two and try it again.

if the block heater works as it should even 2-3 hours should get you a noticable difference.
after 6-8 hours, my truck will have a warm upper rad hose and turn over like a warm summer's day. Probably even after less time than that, but rarely do I try it for any time span between an hour and a full day at work

Ok got the truck running!!! had to hook another set of cables up to my secondary battery on my 07. Fired right up and shot power steering fluid all over, I forgot that I had cut the lines 3 years ago. It sat and idled without a hiccup for about 20 minutes till I shut it off. Got my battery box in from Ballistic and mounted in the box on the back, Looks pretty good, Vinny should be posting pics up soon.
