38.5's on a 1500
Okay I have my DANA 60 front now from a 97 3/4 ton and I want to run 38.5s Boggers. The question is has anyone used the daystar 2 inch lift coil spring spacers with the skyjacker 5" lift as well as 3 inch body lift, did you have to change your shocks and add limiting straps?

i'm running 3 inch pro comps on top of my bds, yes you'll need new shocks or a flat plate instead of a shock tower. superlift makes some.

38's on a 1500
I am going to make all new control arms and run the 2 inch daystars on top of my coils to gain the extra height. I am also going to run either the 7 inch spring from Skyjacker. But does any one run the 10 inch springs from Whiplash to get rid of the rear block. The rear block is 3 inch so I figure if I am running 7 inches of lift in the front and 10 inches in the rear minus the rear block then it should balance out???

rear springs?

I just want to eliminate the stock block in hopes of stopping wheel hop. I am planning to run a rear track bar but I just don't want any blocks.

Why do you want a rear track bar?
Do you plan to do a true long arm setup on the front, or just make new, beefier and slightly longer arms to fit the stock mounts? Cepek makes/made a sweet looking long arm 6" kit, might do a search for some ideas, if nothing else (IIRC, it was around $1900). Pete

A track bar does nothing to help axle wrap.
And are you converting to a single link on each side on the front (ie like Ford's radius arm setup), or are you making 2 longer links for each side? I'm assuming by centering the axle, you mean centering it in the wheelwells, not centering it side-to-side under the truck? Pete

Track bars to stop wheel hop and axle wrap.
THIS IS WHAT I AM GOING TO DO TO THE REAR....I am going to add another cross member in to attach one end of the new track bar parallel to the driveshaft and then the other to the top of the diff housing to eliminate axle wrap. Then I am going to relocate both rear shocks on the back of the axle and have them both mount about 4 inches apart from each other above the diff housing so that they are like a triangle. As they are now with rear axle flex they are hitting the frame. Yes I am going to center the front axle in the wheel wells as they are not now with the skyjacker 5 inch lift and will only get worst with the extra 2 inches. I am just going to replace the links top and bottom. The Frame mount for the bottom link is going to become the mount for the top link and I am going to make an all new mount moved further back on the frame for the bottom link and beef it all up a bit.
