Maiden 4WD trip
Here's a few pics of my first 4 wheeling with "Terrainosaur". It performed as expected. This remote country trail is the New River Canyon in Arizona, rated medium difficulty. 4wd required at times for smooth drive over the the rocks. didn't need to turn on the lockers.

Bad ass, love this thing. I bet it's a bit like wheeling a 747 you sit up so high
Any "flex" or "obstacle" pics?Travis..

Cool deal. Looks a little low in the rear, but that may just be the angle. How does it ride and handle?

What a neat rig. I'd love to have one. Way better than sleeping in the front seat with a sleeping bag
What kind of mileage are you getting with that beast?

Sorry i didn't take the chance of taking pics over obstacles, I was more concerned about getting through. I went alone through this "remote country trail" against the trail book's advice :-) Anyway the obstacles are just basketball sized boulders that required good tire placement and a few drops that make you wonder if the rear bumper would drag. Behind me in the river-crossing picture (just beside the tree on the left of the picture), there is such an obtacle. In fact on my way back, there was a JEEP that stopped before it thinking twice if he should cross. So I told him it's not a big deal and not to worry - I'll pull him out if he got stuck. OK, a "747" decal is going on the hood!!!

And you're right, I'd rather have the front an inch or so lower. Actually, the frame/body is perfectly level and only so because the front right air bag is at 40 psi to level the front (and the rear airbag already at 70). For some reason, the front lists to the right without jacking up the airbag a bit. I have so much axle clearance in the front due to too much lift from the front leaf springs; I'm thinking of replacing the front springs. It rides well and handles well over tippy embankments, rides a little softer, which I like, than my over-stabilized GMC RV.
