Just newer piles of trash up there, and the cabins are in worst shape than in the past.

Status of the "closure" is still the same.

It's obvious to me that the 4 wheel community is not the ones doing the damage, who wants to haul in food and supplies and hike the trash back out when they can bury it and let the water and erosion resurface it. The four wheel community is the governments best unpaid rangers, why can't they see that???

The trash is worse and worse yet is the all the human crap unburied just above the Hilton in the friggin stream bed. My wife and I (wheelers) Spent several days up there cleaning up trash, shit and trying to fix stuff. To bad the people that use and abuse it now think wheelers are still the bad guys. I tried reeducation a couple of them but they hear and think what they want. It's like drinking the tap water in San Francisco it will destroy your mind.
