just a statement--- opinion
I have 'wheeled' for a number of years--- from Ga. to S.Dak. to Calif.--
last saturday i was at the Hammers--- MOST of my bunch now hangs out there-
my group does a lot of 'hard core' wheelin on most of the harder trails-and some of the Comps-------- and that is great !-
BUT- the adverage driver on a sunday outting with the wife and friends, with just an adverage 4X of some sort---the 75%-
I'd be willing to bet that there isn't ONE out there that can look at --Charlies pics-- AND NOT BE MOVED !!!!-(or inspired)---Jail Canyon--
how many nails did someone pound into the woodworks at the mine/mill site---how many shovel fulls of rock/dirt did someone move from that mine---- carrying the rail tracks up into that canyon/gradeing a road bed---the stamps and related equipment--- THAT REPRESENTS A WHOLE LOT OF WORK---
dreams/passion/hopes/dedication/sweat/tears/sore muscles/smashed fingers/------ day after day after day----- and eventually giveing it up and moveing on---
Folks--- there is a big world out there FULL of things to see and experience--
live YOUR own dreams--- but take a bit of time to LIVE THE DREAMS OF OTHERS IN OUR PAST !!!
