TIN:skull:BENDERS Donate $22,000 to FOPV
With huge thanks to all the support many of you gave our club, the TIN
BENDERS, we're able to write a check for $22,000 for the fight for Surprise. This cash was generated by all them raffle tickets you guys bought for the Formula Toy, we fully appreciate every ticket bought. HUGE, I mean fawkin HUGE props go to Trail Gear for the $5000 donation they presented to us at the BENDER JAMBO, thank you Matt![]() The F-Toy.....We couldn't have done it without the parts so many vendors kicked down, all the way down to a trailer kicked by TrailerGuy here on the PBB. I'll get Phildo or JRT to post up the vendor list, I don't have it right here, but those vendors are the ones that deserve your business, they are down for the cause. Not only did the vendors kick in for the build, but so did some clubs and regular shmoes. Fourlofirst had a Yellow Top drop shipped to me and TDS (the club, not the event ) gave $300 for the build![]() So big props to all of you for the support, it's making a difference.

WOW!!! That is so great. The vendors really stepped up..like always---but I must say, that I was constantly amazed by everyone at registration. Everyone was so generous..I can't tell you how many people handed me $100 or more as a donation. I was blown away over and over.
Thanks to everyone who came out, and donated!

Cool
It was a lot of long hard weekends (especially Desertoy, I think he did more than his share) but worth it.

$22k,
, just awesome. Nothing else to say. Thanks for the props, but it is you, The Tin Benders, that WE should be thanking for taking the time out of your lives to organize such a great event that can contribute that kind of donation. It is really a credit to all of the Benders and the work that you have done. Great job guys and gals, it was a top notch event.

The reason I bought 100ish tickets for the raffle was for “The Cause”. When I found out that I won it was unbelievable. The fact that they raised $22,000 is fawkin amazing. These 12? guys do more for the cause then anyone that I’ve ever heard of. The sponsors that kicked down are also amazing, without them the raffles probably wouldn’t happen, so support them.. Just so you guys know my new buggy is getting used, Here is a shot of the 2007 Tin Bender Raffle F-Toy at the Donner W.E. Rock comp. We finished the course, but took out four cones in the process.
