Thanksgiving at Panamint Springs

Anyone ever done the free turkey day dinner at Panamint Springs? Thinking about doing it this year instead of Panamint Valley days.

I've got a few friends who go every year. They all have a good time. They do volunteer prep work the night before.

I don't recall the number of folks who show up for dinner, but I know is over 200 people.

If you want to stay at the resort, better call 'em now and check on room/camp availability. That time of year fills up fast. Of course there's plenty of desert to dry camp in the area.

Thanksgiving at PSR is great we attended 2005,06 and 07. The weather was always great and the wheelin great as well. Full hook-up sites usually go fast if not already gone. Call soon enjoy

I stopped by around the time service was beginning and the line was LOONG, 2008. So I went into the minimart and got a shake and split.

Looks like it'll be full this year too. There may be some 'water only' sites left, but not many.
