need a good panamint valley map

My google-fu is weak today and after an hour of looking, I'm not really finding a good map of the Panamint valley area with detail of the local trails specifically, Isham CAnyon, Pleasant CAnyon, Defense Mine Trail. If anybody has one they could e-mail me that would be awesome.

The best maps currently available are the BLM/NPS/USGS "Desert Access Guide's". The "Darwin Falls" map covers the north half of Panamint Valley down to Pleasant Canyon and includes the Stone Canyon, Defense Mine, and Lookout City roads. The "Ridgecrest" map covers the south half of Panamint Valley including the Slate Range trails (Isham, Fish, etc).

http://www.blm.gov/ca/st/en/info/iac/Northern_Map.html

They are also available at some BLM field offices and at Jawbone Station, which is about 20 miles east of Mojave on hwy14.

thank-you! Our club is going to go out there in May and I am trying to see if I can get a rough simple map to have screen printed on a 22"X22" bandana.

Another excellent map is the Tom Harrison DVNP Recreation Map; about $10, available from REI, DVNP Bookstore site et al.

REI can go ahead and fall of the planet.

Nothing against Albin, but anyone that supports rei is a traitor to our sport.

REI helps finance Enviro extremism. Don't buy squat from them.

I haven't been in REI since I moved from Seattle, but whatever.

Buy the Tom Harrison DVNP Recreation Map direct from the source: http://www.tomharrisonmaps.com/locationmap.html

I will have our graphics guy e-mail me a copy of the logo in high res. The only copy I have gets distorted if it's larger than 1"x1" lol

Here is the bandanna that gave us the idea. We also liked that it has a "key" at the bottom to show the difference between roads, 4x4 trails, and horse/ walking trails, but those are adjustments we can make once we find a good map to work with.

I'm lagging man, sorry. The note is sitting on my desk. I've got to survive TDS's Desert Safari this weekend, then I'll get back on stuff.

I've had that KOH week, the Cal 4 Wheel Convention 4 day weekend and I've been sick ever since, cracked a rib last week . . . so if I don't die this weekend I'm on it . . .
