Opinions on Dakota Digital ?

Hi, I am about to order a Universal Speedometer Signal Interface to fix a problem I have.

I swaped in a dodge Durango engine, transmission, and T-Case into my ZJ.
since Ive done this, well I have no O/D since on the ZJ the speed sensor is on the T-case, and on the Durango its on the rear diff. So now I've been told I could use a Dakota Digital Universal Speedometer Signal Interface to use one of my ABS signals and convert it into the correct signal for the speedometer therefor fixing my problem (already unplugged my ABS anyways and not using it) . So I think this is a good plan...

Anyone here can confirm to me if this is even possible?

Cheers to all

It should work fine, I have used Dakota convertors on several vehicles, just not your combination, but it still should work.

I've used DD for both speedo and speed sensor inputs in the past, they work great!

Did the Dakota work for you? I own multiple jeeps but I am trying to help a buddy whose (get ready to flame) Subaru speedometer does not work, I have narrowed it down to the Trans Speedo Gears are stripped, it has a VSS sensor that is spun by the gears to 4000 pulses per mile via Sine Wave (from what I read), I took the VSS wires and hooked them to the ABS sensor wires and got the speed to work, but it shows 80mph when I am doing 20mph...... so I am hoping the Dakota system will work.... Any thoughts ?

Thanks,

Bryan
