ya, it will never replace the larger air volume moved by 10's or 12's but they more than do the job. makes the fosgates they replaced seem like a joke.

Home Depot ...in the drawer slides section then some perforated angle and some flat aluminum.

Doc I'm sure you know this but i didn't see it mentioned, If your using silicone on anything with bare copper(like wiring) make sure the silicone doesn't smell like vinegar or it will end up corroding the connections. Silicone sealant releases acetic acid as it cures. That's why it smells like vinegar. The acid is corrosive and can damage the wiring.

These are surprisingly loud and crisp. I wish I way to capture on video how solid they hit and how you have no idea they are just 8's.
I was skeptical about both the amp and the subs expecting to sell them on craigslist, looks like my old amps and subs are going instead

Ive did a wall with 4 15s and door panels with 4 speakers per door last summer. But for the power I have I'll be doing 2 15s in a wall but in a 4th order bandpass.

Cool build, Ive seen a lot about sundown. Most everyone tells me to use them.

YA but it holds up to abuse, I have seen it used in everything from race jet skis to duck boats. Held up great on my skis and one has had it for over 7 years

Drive your F-toy every day as a commuter to work and let me know what kind of system you need in order to actually hear it

My JK, with a soft top, on 37" T/A's, no carpet or liner and while doing 70 down the highway makes it a little difficult to hear "stock" audio. And its not about "loud" its about "correct", you kinda need to feel bass a little.
