Great multi function relay
Not sure if anybody has used these in a 12 volt app..But they re pretty common in the industrial field.. During my build i found one that is set for 12 volt operation..
I use it as a cool down switch to continue to run my fans after I shut the truck off.I plan on getting one to allow my tow pig to run after i get out to let the turbo oil not to cook http://www.mcmaster.com/#6964K15 Ive seen them in grainger but not in the 12 volt form..Ive been runing mine for a few months and it always works.. On-Delay (Delay-On-Make) Off-Delay (Power-Off Delay) Interval Switch-On Initiated Interval (Single-Shot) Switch-Off Initiated Interval (Delay-On-Break) Repeat Cycle are all settings you can run with it. Here is a pic on a small plate i installed in my truck. You can get an idea how large the relay is.The spdt relays control my fans, rocklights, and whatnot.I use a push button to start the timer in the relay I will have to search around for the instructions and scan them.
