First off I have to say that Im located in Colorado springs, and YOU have to PICK UP what ever parts you want. I may ship smaller stuff, but most of it is to heavy to box. If you want I MIGHT strap it to a pallet, but it will of course be on your dime!
I have a complete block with crank, pistons, cams, etc. I have a pair of heads that have been taken apart, and just about all the parts out of them. I also have a super charger, but it's incomplete and I would like to keep it. I would however consider trading it for turbo parts.(listed below) There is rust in the cylinders, and inside the block. The cams are rusted, so Im sure there no good. I can try and get more detailed pix if you want them, but it's not gonna be easy. I am keeping the flat oil pan seen in the pic! I do have a deep pan that I will sell though. We all know what it's worth, so if your interested please make a reasonable offer. I've seen them sell from $2,000 to $10,000 as complete runners. I can help load it, but please bring a trailer! It will be next to imposable to lift it into a truck. My hoist won't pick it high enough. You can email me directly at bigbadcaddybu@yahoo.com please provide a phone number so I can just call you with details. Im interested in trades. I need a twin turbo set up that works with the supercharger, an adapter so I can use a small transmission, 4BT, 6BT, engines or parts, or other diesel engines. Just let me know what you have. I also have a 10 speed Eaton Fuller for sale. Not exactly sure what model it is, but its all there and looks to be in good shape. These sell for $3000-$4000 rebuilt. Make a reasonable offer, and I'll most likely take it. I'll post pix when my computer decides to cooperate.

I hate to break it to you, but that engine is essentially a core engine only. Unless you can prove that the cylinder heads are not pitted nor cracked, you would be lucky to get more than $400 for it. From what I can see, it is an LC or RC 6V53N fan to flywheel industrial engine. A stock 6V53N weighs in at 1850lbs.
I could tell you more if you posted the engine model/serial number. They are stamped into the block just above the water pump, next to where the head would bolt to. Chris

I know Im not gonna get very much for the engine, I just don't wanna take it to the crusher. I would much rather see it used, then be turned into a KIA!
The numbers are as follows, on top 5063-7000 on bottom 6D-201923. From what I know it's a reverse rotation boat engine, but they can be changed to rotate correctly. You just change the cams and get a reverse starter. This one is the opposite of the truck engine I have, the starter is on the driver side, and the water pump is on the passenger side. That's a good thing if your swapping it into a truck because the oil filter is also on the passenger side, no steering box issues. The trans is worth some money though, and like I said there's nothing wrong with it. It's numbers are 15890 8/26/8 IML-237. Thanx for checking it out K-Tron, glad to see Im not the only one who plays with the big toys!

5063-7000 translates to:
5: Series 53 06: 6 cylinder 3: Fan to Flywheel Industrial 7: Model RC starter opposing oil cooler (Reverse Rotation - Flywheel rotates counterclockwise when looking at it) 0: Naturally Aspirated 07: Specific number relating to what piece of equipment it was in. 6D-201923 would make this engine a very late model 1980 engine I have a thing for the old 2-strokes. I have a fully restored 1977 6V53T and a low hour 4-53T in a 79' GMC 7000. Good luck with the sale, Chris

Is there another tag on that transmission? I can't find anything like that number even under the old nomenclature rules(http://www.roadranger.com/ecm/groups.../ct_048688.pdf). If that truly is the number, it's more indicative of an 8 speed.

Unfortunately there's no tag on the trans. I just found what was stamped into the case, and the cast numbers in the cover. I'll see what else I can find, and post again. Now that the CJ I was working is gone I can pull it out and look it over better. I may end up using it any way, Im having one hell of a time finding an adapter/trans to use that doesn't weigh 800lbs
![]() $250, no. Put another zero behind that and maybe.

Got some new info, and a huge disappointment. I got the engines out so I could start cleaning them up, and get some better pix. After fixing my bent engine hoist I got every thing moved around, started working on the block Im selling, and found a damn crack in it!
I was pissed, but took it all apart any way. The block might be ok, because the crack isn't in a place where it's real critical. Everything else is good though, so all the small parts are still for sale. I now have: Front mane lower cover ![]() Front mane upper cover(if I can get the cam pulleys off) Water pump for driver side ![]() ![]() Crank Rods (pistons and sleeves no good-rusted) Rear plate ![]() ![]() Cam timing gears ![]() Fuel pump driver Tach driver and cable connector bell housing adapter #2 bell ![]() Fly wheel for a marine application ![]() Standard oil pan and pick up tube As for the transmission, I got a hot tip where to find numbers, and Im gonna take it apart tomorrow to try and find them. I did figure out it has a #2 bell housing. Tomorrow I will post the pix to, my photobucket account is full so I have to delete some before I can add more
