I've got a complete 79 360 with the th400 tran and q-trac t-case.
Engine needs a water pump but everything else is good. Comes with everything under the hood you need/want. South Tx

$175 for EVERYTHING

or
straight trade for d44 st. rot. 4.10 r/p w/carrier/bearings

or
straight trade for 4- 15x10 black steels 6x5.5

what speed is the transmission? what are the low gears in transmission and t-case?

uhhh. I dont know the gearing in the tranny or t-case. Someone can prolly shed light on this. Its outta a wagoneer 1979 with narrowtrack axles and auto hubs if that helps. But if anyone wants it for 175, its theirs, radiator back. I just need it gone.

That's one heck of a deal. I wished I didn't live on the other end of the state from ya'.
I got a '79 in need of a rebuild and would like one to go in its place for/during.
Ever get to the DFW area often?

Well, no, but I'm going to that rockcrawling event April 4-6th in Mason. So, ill be in Austin. Sadly, its still in the vehicle. If you want the vehicle, I can give u the whole wagoneer for 250 + 70 for the gas. Has everything but axles

Will the motor run once a water pump is put on it? Any estimate on mileage???

I was led to believe so. It was parked by a hunter in December and i saw it move here to there until it came to rest. Then i bought it for the axles.

Its all complete and it SHOULD run. I dont know jack about these engines, so I don't really know. The guy i bought it from says its just the water pump and a battery. I do know that it looks to be in good condition, but i wouldnt bet the farm on it. the truck itself is kinda ragged and i dont know the milage of it. I had pictures of the engine, but i deleted them yesterday. if you're serious about it, i can go get some more of what u whatever u wanna see.
