I am selling my 5.0 mustang motor. It has 27k on it and is very very clean. It was pulled a year ago and has no rust or dirt on it. I can send pics if you are interested. I would like to sell it for $650 which is a steal for a motor in this condition. I would like to trade it for ONE toyota 5.29 diff. with or without a locker. The motor has an alt bracket and ALL sensors on the motor. I donot have the computer but I can get one for you if you need me too.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I can send pics upon request. Their is not a thing wrong with this motor I just need it out of my shop. Thanks Tyler

Id trade u straight across for a 5.29 (precision gears) third with a new style lockright, less than 500 miles setup by a toyota mechanic, till he pulled it to go hi pinion, then I aquired it anticipating going from my 4.88s to 5.29s. I have no engine, so this would be better!!!!!!!!!! Email me at jslamerman@yahoo.com, I know that shipping would be an issue (forwardair.com), we can work somthin out!!! Now, if I could only find a tranny!!!!??????

What year is this motor ? I am still interested in this motor , just having a hard time deciding which direction i'm going . I do have a 5.29 third with auburn posi , less than 100 mi on it and it functions wonderfully . Kinda looking to swap this motor into my tacoma (95) and I can upgrade the smog to pass BAR

I'll give you a 5.29 4cyl third , richmond gears, auburn posi , pretty damn close to being new , works like a charm ,always thought it was a locker till I parted out my axle and pulled it.

who set up those gears??? How did you not know if it was a locker/posi if it was in your truck?? Did you buy it from someone else???

Bought the 4runner from a guy in vacaville , rolled it 8months later , 4runner has been sitting for 2 yrs and now I'm parting it out . Set up was done by west coast diff in rancho cordova . The diff basically functioned like a locker and was told it had a locker until I parted out the axle
