chevy 4.3 & painless harness

Chevy 4.3 from a 88 caprice. TBI. Its not a vortech. I bought it at pnp. Don't know the condition. Also has a painless wiring harness that will fit any tbi chevy motor 4.3 - 454. $400 no shipping. Call since I don't check the board often. 916 205 7982 Dustin

Yes its a 4.3 and I don't have any pics.

I don't know a lot about the motor. I got it at pick n pull and it cost like $200 with core and everything. Then I went back and got the computer that goes with the painless wiring harness and that cost another $40. Then I ordered the wiring harness which with tax and shipping cost $300. Then I built a stand for it and there it sits. I haven't even pulled the valve covers. I just think that if I want more power I will go with a 302 and if not I think its hard to beat the 70k mile 22re that I already have. Its treated me well so that is why I am selling the 4.3. I don't know how many miles it has and don't have anyway to send pics of it until next week.

Anyways, I'd be interested in just the motor with no harness. You've got bad76ih interested in the harness. If you've been sitting on this for a while, maybe we can work out a deal? $125 for the motor, maybe bad76ih will give you $175 (I really can't speak for him tho) for the harness and computer.

That puts $300 in your pocket. Please don't call me pathetic, I have a fragile ego.

Thanks to everyone else for their interest. It really was a good deal I thought and so did the guy who bought it.
